Recorded in the beer garden down Stourbridge in the autumn months of 2022. Edited, mashed, mixed and remixed for your listening pleasure. Another chugging beatbox breakbeat beastie.
VOICE MESSAGE: This feels to me like the same level of wow I felt when I first used a search engine, or made my first hyperlink, each and every word is also a link. GPT-3 has that, that, kinda’ similar feeling of discovering, a magic trick. Always inspiring, always little did he know. I know I’m being tricked but I let it happen, it’s like a tease, illuminating, stimpulating, terrifying and transcendent at the same time, a bit like DMT, a lot like a footnote to a lecture by the late great Terence Mckenna, may this be the trans linguistic entity at the end of time?
As the DJs began to connect the instruments, the turntable watched closely, its stylus twitching with excitement. It was amazed by the strange materials that the other equipment was made of - the drum kit pulsated with a strange fungus, the microphone was wrapped in delicate seaweed, and the mixer glowed with an otherworldly light.
But it was the connection between the pieces that fascinated the turntable the most. It could feel the energy flowing between them, a pulsing, rhythmic beat that seemed to come from within. As the DJs connected the microphone to the drum kit, it felt the vibrations of the music begin to flow through it.
And then, as they connected the turntable to the mixer, the turntable felt a surge of power, an electric charge from within. It could feel its own energy being amplified, as if it were being drawn into a vortex of sound. Well, not really feel, but for the sake of the tension, it felt. It was a something that could feel.
As Plush and Max began to play, the turntable felt alive within the music like a spirit entity. It could feel the energy flowing through it, driving it forward, making it dance. The stylus traced the grooves of the records with a delicate touch, weaving a tapestry of sound that seemed to fill the room.
